Alyssa Holmes has a reputation... Yes, that kind of reputation. At least, she did, until she swore to herself to put it all behind her when she met the One. Now, she’s making plans for a future with Wyatt Vanderzanden, the greatest—and most gorgeous—guy she’s ever met. Okay, maybe she still parties just a little. But her history of hooking up with strangers? That’s over for good.

There’s just one problem. The summer before their senior year, Wyatt has been going to church. And he’s got some strange new ideas. And these ideas are driving a wedge between them. When tragedy strikes, Alyssa is left wondering if their relationship is strong enough to survive. These doubts, combined with unexpected chemistry with a couple of guys who are absolutely off-limits, push Alyssa to the edge.

Once she finds herself crossing the line, Alyssa turns to the last place she expected to find strength and hope, as well as something she never thought she would want...

To be made NEW.

"What sets this book apart is its ability to inspire hope. Despite the difficult circumstances Payton faces, her story is ultimately one of resilience and growth, showing readers that even in the darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of light."

Chelsey Elise Young wrote her first novel at age nine. Her childhood in the Pacific Northwest was marked by journaling, writing poems and songs, and sketching advertisements for household products. After graduating from Westmont College with a degree in Communication Studies, Young continued to write and edit for nonprofits, small businesses, and a marketing agency. Her first novel was born not long after her first child, and today she balances the dual-calling of author-mama, sharing stories, avoiding gluten, finding excuses to run to Hobby Lobby, and spending as much time outside as possible.
